Zane (French pronunciation: [zinedin jazid zidan]) (born 23 June 1972) is a retired French footballer. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.^[3][4][5] Zidane played for major club teams in France, Italy and Spain, and was the captain of theFrench national team. He was the iconic figure of a generation of French players that won the 1998 World Cup and 2000 European Championship. After a brief international retirement, he returned to the national team in 2005 and captained France to the 2006 World Cup Final where he won the Golden Ball as the tournament's most outstanding player.

Although he had little managerial experience, he became head coach of the Argentina national team in November 2008, and held the job for eighteen months, until his contract expired after the 2010 World Cup.

ohn George Terry (born 7 December 1980) is an English professional footballer. Terry plays in a centre back position and is the captain of Chelsea in the Premier League. He is also captain of the England national football team, having been reinstated in March 2011 after previously holding the post from August 2006 until February 2010.

Terry was voted best defender in the UEFA Champions League in both 2005^[3] and 2008, the PFA Players' Player of the Year in 2005,^[4] and was included in the FIFPro World XI for four consecutive seasons, from 2005 to 2008.^[5][6][7][8] He was also named in the all-star squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the only English player to make the team.^[9] He wears the number 26 shirt for Chelsea.

Messi began playing football at a young age and his potential was quickly identified by Barcelona. He left Rosario-based Newell's Old Boys's youth team in 2000 and moved with his family to Europe, as Barcelona offered treatment for his growth hormone deficiency. Ronaldo began his career as a youth player for Andorinha, where he played for two years, then moved to Nacional. In 1997, he made a move to Portuguese giants Sporting Clube de Portugal. Ronaldo's precocious talent caught the attention of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and signed the 18-year-old for £12.24 million in 2003. The following season, Ronaldo won his first club honour, the FA Cup and played at Euro 2004 with Portugal.
